DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Hi there... I'm Babe Harold! My story started a little sad. I was living outside in a neighborhood in rural Alabama with my siblings. Life was pretty scary for little puppies like us, and sadly some of my littermates were hit by cars before kind people helped rescue me and my brother and sister, Babe Harper and Babe Hubert. But things are finally looking up for us! The wonderful folks at K-9 Lifesavers stepped in to help us find the safe, loving forever homes every puppy deserves.
I'm a sweet boy who really loves other dogs. I might be just a little shy when I first meet new people, but give me a little time and I warm up quickly. Once I feel comfortable, you'll see my gentle, loving personality shine. Since I'm still a young pup, I'm at the perfect age to learn all the good doggy things—training, socializing, and becoming the very best companion. With a little patience and love, I promise I'll grow into an amazing best friend. All I really want is a family to love me, keep me safe, and give me the happy life every puppy dreams about.

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
