Bahrain is part of a litter of 9 affectionate puppies. They are all jet black with only minor differences in some small white markings, and all have short smooth, silky fur. Saving Grace received the puppies along with their momma (who looked like a nice black lab) at the end of April. Bahrain is a good eater and eats his kibble individually in a crate. He is very calm when finished (he is not very calm before eating - eating is a big deal for a puppy). His litter is required to sit prior to any of them being picked up and put in a crate to eat (see the picture of the entire litter sitting - hoping to be chosen first to eat). As a result, the entire litter knows both the verbal and hand commands to "sit!" This technique was surprisingly easy to train - if they sat, they got picked up and put in a crate to eat - and the others NOTICED what it took! The litter all get along well with each other and play together incessantly in the foster home's puppy yard with the favorite game being "chase". He sleeps soundly at night in a puppy pile with his litter (quietly - except for a few cute snores). Bahrain would love to be part of your household!
