Sarge is an 11.5 year old, 60 pound lab mix who was recently surrendered due to the loss of his
previous owner. He was adopted as a puppy and has lived a full and happy life, and now he is
ready for his next chapter! He may be a senior boy, but don't let that fool you, puppyhood
followed him all the way to adulthood! He is the perfect blend of loyal companion and easygoing
best friend.
He gets along beautifully with every dog he meets, but he is also comfortable being your one
and only - his love and loyalty forms deep bonds, and he just wants to be near his person. He
can be a bit shy of men, but once he warms up he won't leave your side. He is very obedient
and well mannered, making him the perfect addition to a home looking for a gentle, devoted
companion. He's got a playful spirit that still shines with puppy-like joy, but can also settle in for
a cozy nap. Whether you are looking for a couch potato or an adventure buddy, Sarge is the one
for you!
