Lucky Boy is less than 2 years old and weighs around 60 lbs.

This pup is people-friendly, and especially loves kids. Lucky plays well with other dogs, and has not yet been exposed to kitties. Men in hats make him feel a bit uneasy. It's never aggressive, and with time and positive exposure, we expect him to be just fine.

We would rate his energy level at about a 5 on a 1-10 scale (which makes a teenage dog like him easy to manage and be around)! Lucky can get silly with the other foster pup, but when it's just people, he can calmly sit and hang out (he loves chilling on the couch).

Lucky is a fairly smart kiddo. We love how eager he is to please, because it makes you smile, and it also makes training fun & easy! Commands he has learned: SIT, DOWN, HEEL, and KENNEL. He is still improving on his leash-pulling, and the special collar his foster uses, seems to be the secret weapon.

So what brings joy to Lucky? Lucky loves bones and tennis balls. He also enjoys following his foster or chilling nearby. Sitting out in the sun on a nice day is also a very pleasant moment for him.

What we like about him is that he is a very sweet and attentive boy. It's almost impossible to feel sad or lonely around him. He is gentle with his affection. He loves both giving & receiving kisses, and likes his butt rubs. His foster says she has never met a more grateful pup! Lucky tends to be on the quiet side. However, when he hears loud noises in the backyard, he gets scared and barks. Needless to say, he is not a fan of loud noises or men in hats (as mentioned earlier).

Lucky's ideal home might include kids or a family with another dog. If not, an active person or community would be wonderful. More details about Lucky are outlined below:

1- HOUSE-TRAINED?
Yes.

2- CRATE-TRAINED?
Yes (stays in the crate for bedtime and when home alone).

3- HOW IS HE IN THE CAR?
He does panic some (due to being dumped), and fosters are working with him.

4- FOOD DRIVE?
On 1-10 scale, he is about an 8.

5- PREY DRIVE?
Average to neutral. His foster can walk him by a pool of ducks, and he doesn't really pay attention to them.

6- STORM ANXIETY? SEPARATION ANXIETY? BEHAVIORAL ISSUES?
No, no and none.

7- WHAT MAKES HIM UNIQUE?
He has a beautiful coat. Silly boy

8- Any possible health concerns?
No.
