DESCRIPTION

Meet Pax

Pax is a 11-month-old, 30-pound bundle of sweetness who is just beginning to discover how wonderful life can be. After finding the shelter overwhelming and scary, Pax has blossomed in his foster home and is showing everyone what a special boy he truly is.

At heart, Pax is a playful, energetic pup with a curious spirit. Like a toddler discovering the world, he's always finding new (and sometimes hilarious) ways to burn off energy. Toys are his absolute favorite — squeaky ones, chewy ones, fluffy ones... though fair warning, he has on one occasion performed “toy surgery” to investigate what's inside.

Pax absolutely adores other dogs and gains confidence from his canine friends. He would thrive in a home with another playful dog to show him the ropes and continue building his confidence. He takes many of his cues from the dogs around him and feels comforted by their presence.

He's also learning that humans are pretty amazing. While he can be a little timid in new situations (stairs are still suspicious!), once he warms up, he is incredibly loving and loyal. He especially enjoys the tiny humans in his foster home and has proudly taken on the role of “toddler clean-up crew.”

Pax is:

Crate trained (and rests comfortably when his family is away)
Potty trained (no accidents!)
Learning loose-leash walking
Great with other dogs
Sweet, gentle, and affectionate once comfortable

Pax is looking for a patient, understanding family who will continue to help him grow in confidence. In return, he promises devotion, playful joy, and a lifetime of love.

If you're ready to watch a sweet boy blossom into your very best friend, Pax may be your perfect match.
