Meet Mickey — The Sweet Brindle Girl Finding Her Courage

Mickey's story started a little rough. She was found as a stray with several other dogs, but sadly she was the only one who could be caught. While we don't know where she came from, we do know she deserves a future full of safety, love, and cozy cuddle sessions.

Born 11/24/2025 and weighing about 20 lbs, Mickey is a beautiful brindle mystery mix with the softest eyes and the sweetest personality. Breed? Anyone's guess. Adorable? Absolutely guaranteed.

Mickey can be a little shy at first, especially when there's a lot of activity around her. But once things calm down, her true personality shines through and she turns into a total cuddle bug who just wants to be close to her people.

She's still learning how the world works and is making progress every day:

• Working on potty training and currently doing well using potty pads

• Becoming more comfortable on a leash

• Practicing crate training (she settled quickly after a short cry the second night)

• Enjoying backyard playtime

Mickey especially loves following the resident dog, Oakley, around. When Oakley invites her to play she gets a little unsure at first, but you can tell she really wants to join in. Because of this, Mickey would LOVE a home with another friendly dog to help show her the ropes and build her confidence.

With a little patience and love, Mickey is going to blossom into an amazing companion.
