Labrador Retriever Dogs Available for Adoption

Chase is a five-year-old Lab mix, born 11-02-2016. He is house trained, and weighs 50 lbs. Chase was formally in a home with an 11-year-old child and a cat, and he seemed to do well. However, since coming to our shelter we have found him to have an unpredictable reaction to strangers and to be defensive around new people, especially men. He would do best in a quiet home, without children, where there are not a lot of new people coming and going. With love, training and attention, we know he can be a great companion for someone who is willing to give him the time and energy he needs.
