Background/Foster Notes:
Leo’s story began with a difficult start, but today he’s a shining example of resilience and joy.

As a newborn, Leo and his littermates were part of an abuse case and were taken from their mother at just one day old, left on doorsteps in the middle of the night. Thankfully, compassionate rescuers stepped in immediately. The puppies were bottle-fed around the clock until authorities were able to locate their mom and reunite the family.

Despite that heartbreaking beginning, Leo has grown into an incredibly happy, loving young dog with a wonderfully gentle spirit. With his striking blue brindle coat and soulful eyes, he turns heads wherever he goes—but it’s his sweet personality that truly wins people over.
Leo is a medium-energy pup who enjoys spending time outdoors exploring the yard, happily carrying around a stick, or relaxing near his people. He’s very treat-motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding, and he’s eager to learn and please.

For such a young dog, Leo is wonderfully easy to live with. He’s house trained, comfortable in his crate, and used to being fed there as part of his routine. Like many dogs his age, he can occasionally get curious and chew something he shouldn’t, so keeping tempting items out of reach will help him continue to succeed.

Leo has a calm, easygoing nature and isn’t overly rowdy, even though he’s still in his “teenage puppy” phase. He may occasionally bark at the neighbor’s dog through the fence, but otherwise he’s a laid-back boy who simply enjoys being part of daily life. He’s affectionate without being clingy and loves companionship, whether that’s relaxing beside his people or spending time with other dogs.
Leo would love a home with a yard since that’s what he’s used to, and he’d happily welcome a canine buddy—but he’d also do well as the center of attention in a loving home that gives him plenty of exercise and companionship.

This handsome boy quietly steals hearts everywhere he goes. Leo is truly a happy-go-lucky pup who is ready to leave his rough beginning behind and start the life he deserves—with a family to love him forever.
