Lass is a 9-month-old retriever mix weighing around 41 lbs, and she's a happy, gorgeous girl with a big personality. She absolutely loves people and other dogs and is always ready to play. Balls and stuffed toys are among her favorite things, and her joyful, playful nature makes her a lot of fun to be around.
She's a smart pup who is already learning her basics-she knows "sit" and is close to mastering "lie down" and "come." Lass is very food motivated, which has been a huge help with training. Potty training is still a work in progress: she doesn't poop in the house and understands that outside is for peeing, but she's still building consistency and may have an accident if she can't get outside in time. She can also pee a little when she's feeling very excited or nervous.
Lass does well in her crate overnight, though she's not a big fan of daytime crating. On leash, she's generally manageable, though she can pull at times, especially when she's excited. As a young dog with classic puppy energy, she's still learning her manners and can jump up or put her paws on people, but she's improving with guidance and consistency. Lass would do best with a patient, committed adopter who's ready to keep up with her training and help her grow into the wonderful dog she's clearly meant to be.
