Meet Agate 🤎
Agate is a small mixed-breed girl, approximately 1–1.5 years old, weighing around 35 lbs, with a warm caramel coat and a bright, joyful spirit. She was rescued from a field and has settled beautifully into safety, showing just how resilient and loving she truly is.
Agate is confident, social, and easygoing, greeting new people with enthusiasm and a happy tail wag. She loves everyone she meets and is completely comfortable with handling, making her a joy to be around in everyday life. She approaches new environments with curiosity and confidence, eager to explore and be part of whatever’s happening.
She absolutely adores other dogs and truly thrives with canine companionship. Agate seeks out playmates, loves to wrestle, chase, and engage in playful fun, and does wonderfully in group settings. Her play style is friendly and engaging, and she’s naturally submissive and easygoing, going with the flow and sharing toys and food without issue. While she would be happiest with a dog sibling, she’s confident enough to do well as an only dog too.
Agate is still learning the basics like potty training, leash walking, and crate training, as she hasn’t had much prior experience with them. She learns well with consistency and patience and responds positively to gentle guidance. Her energy level is moderate — she enjoys a daily walk or backyard playtime but is also content with low-key days at home.
Sweet-natured, adaptable, and full of joy, Agate is a wonderful fit for a wide range of homes — from first-time dog owners to experienced adopters looking for a friendly, social companion.

The Truth About Rescue:
Every rescue pup is a work in progress — and that’s the beauty of it. None of them come wrapped in a bow, ready-made or mistake-free. They come with stories, quirks, and hearts that have seen a lot but still choose to trust again.
Adoption isn’t about perfection; it’s about presence. Showing up for them, every day, until they know they’re finally home. That’s when you’ll see them bloom — soft and steady — into the very best version of themselves. And somewhere along the way, you’ll realize they were never the only one being rescued.
