April 14th
female, large, adult
DESCRIPTION
Darla is described as a lab mix, that is definitely crossed with a bird dog of some kind. Darla is a complete forgiving soft soul who loves everyone and everything she meets. She has had extensive exposure to small and big dogs, cats, bunnies and pet birds and children from 4 to 15 and simply wants to give everything kisses. She has a very gentle demeanor and has what we call happy feet, she does a little prance when she gets excited and loves to gently put her paws on you for hugs. She gives such gentle warm hugs. Darla is 100% crate trained now and has shown to be 95% house trained now with some manners still being smoothed out on putting her paws on the counter to insist on hugs. Darla rides great and finds comfort snuggling on the couch or laying in your lap. Don't let her long legs fool you, she's roughly 55lbs max and a good structured weight now. Darla is suitable for any home, and would do great with anyone's active or relaxed life. She would love a home with kids or other fur friends too. Give this sweet girl a chance to melt your heart
