Brie April Cutest Chunk - Labrador Retriever and German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption in Friendswood, Texas

Some puppies are pretty. Brie is the kind of puppy that makes you involuntarily say, "Awww!" the second you see her.

At just four months old and already 30 pounds of adorable chunkiness, Brie is growing into what we think is a beautiful lab/ German Shepherd mix. She has the biggest goofy puppy paws that she hasn't quite grown into yet, the sweetest caramel-colored coat, the cutest little white chest, and a smile so contagious it could brighten anyone's day. She's all puppy—equal parts oversized feet, wiggly happiness, and endless love.

Brie is the definition of a lover girl. She absolutely adores people and genuinely seems to believe that every person she meets is just a friend she hasn't kissed yet. Belly rubs? Yes, please. Cuddles? Even better. If you're handing out affection, Brie would like to be first in line. She has the sweetest heart and so much love to give.

She's growing up in a loving foster home with lots of doggy friends, and she's doing wonderfully. Brie is friendly with dogs of all shapes and sizes and has beautiful social skills. While she can be a little shy in brand-new situations, she warms up quickly and is happiest when she has another pup around to help show her the ropes. She's the kind of girl who will happily join in on the zoomies one minute and then settle down for a group nap the next.

Brie also recently made a kitty friend and was the sweetest little lady. She was curious, respectful, and even a little unsure of the whole situation—which honestly made her even cuter. After a few cautious sniffs, she happily wandered around, gave the kitty a little space, and even snuck in a few gentle kisses. We think she'd do well with calm, dog-savvy cats who don't mind showing a puppy the ropes.

Despite her puppy age, Brie already has some impressive manners. She's potty trained, walks nicely on leash, and is eager to learn. She's incredibly people-oriented and loves being part of whatever her family is doing, whether that's going for a walk, playing in the backyard, or curling up for a cozy movie night.

Like any young puppy, Brie is still growing, learning, and discovering the world around her. She'll need a family that's excited to continue her training, socialization, and confidence-building, but she's already starting with such a wonderful foundation. Her sweet personality, easygoing nature, and affectionate heart make her the kind of puppy who will fit beautifully into so many different homes.

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travel safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations, in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Before the adoption is finalized, you will meet your pet through a video call, creating a fun and personalized experience!

The adoption fee is $1,200.00 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

At our 2-acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dogs growth, and we enjoy seeing their progress!

We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100$1,000+ per dog.

Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
