Meet Ruth!

Ruth is everything good in this world. Like if a warm hug from your favorite person had a physical, sentient form, it would be Ruth. Like a good night's sleep where your pillow stayed cold all night long. Like that feeling of taking a shower after spending all day at the beach.

Take your favorite thing in the world and, voila, that's Ruth.

Ruth didn't come to us in great shape - her skin was...well, terrible. It still kind of us but it's WAY better than it was. Her fur was falling out, her skin was dry and flaky, she was basically a walking yeast infection which was, obviously, WILDLY uncomfortable for her...and yet she remained an absolute ray of sunshine.

Ruth is a 77lb lab and she's estimated to be about 2-3 years old. Despite being a big lady, she's the epitome of gentle giant - she's sweet, she's submissive, everyone is her best friend, and all she wants is love. She's fantastic on a leash, loves toys (but mostly the person holding the toy), and is a sucker for a good baby voice.

Since she's so submissive and gentle, kids 5+ should be no problem as long as the family has large dog experience. She does well with other dogs and she's both politely curious and healthily wary of cats.

Obviously, her skin will need to be monitored and treated as necessary. Think antibiotics, steroids, antifungal baths, etc. Experience with allergy-prone dogs would be a bonus.
