Labrador Retriever Dogs Available for Adoption

Tex Mex aka “Buddy” is 7 years old but still has lots of puppy playfulness. He loves playing with other dogs and playing with his toys. His favorite thing to do is to climb in your lap for a nap or just snuggle. He has the sweetest disposition and would be an easy fit for anyone or any family. He goes with the flow.

Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies.

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
