LITTLE BIT — Male 14 Weeks 10 lbs
Labrador Retriever Mix
They named him Little Bit, and right now the name fits perfectly. At just 14 weeks old and about 10 pounds, he’s still a little guy with a whole lot of growing, learning, and living ahead of him.
Little Bit is the kind of puppy who makes you picture all the years to come. The first night he curls up beside you and decides he belongs there. The first toy he carries everywhere. Learning to walk on a leash, discovering that car rides mean adventures, and eventually becoming that grown-up dog who somehow always knows when you need a friend nearby.
Right now, though, he’s simply a baby — curious, lovable, and waiting for someone to show him what being part of a family is all about.
Little Bit enjoys people and has been around other dogs. At 14 weeks, he’s at a wonderful age to join a family and begin learning all those important puppy lessons. House training, leash walking, good manners, and figuring out which things are toys — and which things definitely are not — will all take patience and consistency. But watching him grow into the dog he’s meant to be is part of the fun.
The rescue is working on his deworming and age-appropriate vaccinations as he gets ready for his next chapter.
We don’t know exactly which breeds went into making Little Bit, and he doesn’t seem particularly worried about solving that mystery. What we do know is that behind those beautiful eyes is a little boy with his entire life ahead of him — and somewhere out there is the person or family who gets to be part of it.
Maybe all your home is missing is a Little Bit.
