Grover is currently heartworm positive and will need to be adopted locally so he can return for his scheduled treatments and follow-up care. During treatment, he will have some temporary exercise restrictions while he recovers. With proper care and a little patience, heartworm-positive dogs can go on to live long, healthy, happy lives.
