DESCRIPTION
Hi, I'm Tootsie! My foster family found me while they were out walking my step-sisters. They keep saying they think I was dumped, but I don't really know what that means. What I do know is that I've spent the last month with them getting my strength back after my big adventure, and I'm feeling great.
My foster parents keep asking what I want in my next family, so here's my wish list:
Doggy pals: I'm good with other dogs and I LOVE a good game of chase.
Someone who stays: I've been left before, so I'm hoping for a family that won't leave me alone for long stretches.
I already know my stuff: I'm house trained, and I know how to sit and lay down.
Snuggle bug: I love to be held and I'm happiest curled up close to my people.
One small thing: My only hate is squirrels. But if that's your thing we can work on that together.
I'm young, sweet, and ready to learn everything else with you. If you think you could be my forever family, please contact Gulf Coast Humane Society to meet me
ABOUT: LABRADOR RETRIEVER DOG BREED
The Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile dog breed known for its friendly demeanor and high intelligence. These dogs are often used as guide dogs for the visually impaired, search and rescue dogs, and excellent family pets. Labradors are known for their great sense of smell, strong build, and love of water, making them exceptional hunters and swimmers. With their loyal and loving nature, Labradors have rightfully earned their reputation as one of the most beloved dog breeds in the world.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
