Buddy didn’t have much when he was found in San Antonio—just his soft eyes, a quiet spirit, and a hope that someone would notice him. Life hasn’t been easy for this sweet boy, but he hasn’t let that take away his gentle nature.
At just a few months old, Buddy is still very much a puppy, learning about the world one step at a time. He’s the kind of pup who watches before he jumps in, taking everything in with those thoughtful eyes. Once he feels safe, his playful side starts to come out, and you see the happy, loving puppy he’s meant to be.
Buddy enjoys being close to people and finds comfort just being nearby. He’s not overwhelming or demanding, just quietly loyal and looking for someone to bond with. He would do best in a home that can give him patience and consistency as he continues to build confidence and grow.
Coming from a tough start in Texas, Buddy is ready for a fresh beginning. A warm home, a soft place to rest, and someone to show him love is all he’s asking for. Buddy has so much love to give, and with the right person, he will grow into a devoted, lifelong companion.
Buddy will be transported out of state to his adopter. All transport is coordinated with a USDA-licensed carrier, and he will come with a valid health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian prior to travel, as required. His adoption will be finalized before transport, and he will meet his adopter at a predetermined pickup location.
