Short is a very sweet, affectionate girl who’s just waiting to find her person. When she first meets you, she can be a little shy—but give her a little time and patience, and you’ll see her true personality shine. Once she feels safe and comfortable, she absolutely blossoms and becomes a loving, loyal companion.
Short thrives on affection and truly enjoys being close to her people. If you’re someone who loves giving lots of pets, cuddles, and attention, she will happily soak it all up. She forms strong bonds and will reward your kindness with endless sweetness.
On walks, Short can sometimes get startled by random sights or sounds. She’s still building her confidence with the world around her, so she’ll do best with someone who can gently reassure her and help her continue to grow. The good news? She’s a quick learner and eager to please, which makes working with her both fun and rewarding.
She loves to play and has a strong, sturdy build to match her spirited personality. Because of her strength, she may not be the best fit for a home with babies, but she could do wonderfully with older kids and families who understand that she may need a little time to warm up.
