Smoky(also known as Elsa)

Elsa is available as of April 2026. After a year with her current people, they have made a request to return her to CARE. I asked for a description of what she was like now and they stated:

"She is very skittish an scared of everything. She has recently been aggressive towards small dog (wife's dog). Loves children. House trained."

Elsa got along very well with my terrier, Piper. She also got along with my other medium and large dog.

Everything I wrote below is true for that time. If you are looking to truly save a life of a girl who truly deserves a second chance with a loving family, Elsa's your girl!

I have changed Elsa's breed to include "Whippet". This girl is a very fast runner! I have never witnessed a full blooded Lab run anything like she does! So she is a "Whipador"!

Elsa is a loving, beautiful, and energetic girl! She loves to run and play with her foster family pups. Elsa is cautious and curious about new people and new situations. It takes time for her to warm up but once she does, she will be by your side at all times. She loves attention from her people! This pup is smart! She will "sit" on command and "shake" with her paw! Elsa has learned how to fetch a tennis ball and loves to do this!

Elsa has also added "Shop Dog" to her resume! I take her to the framing shop I work at and she has warmed up to everyone there. They have won her trust with patience AND yummy treats!

I feel she would do well with a family with another dog, but she would be ok being the only dog with a loving family that had the time and patience to build on what she has accomplished to this point!
