When a carwash was built near where he once roamed, Buddy began hanging out there—and quickly won the hearts of the staff. They adore him, and the feeling is mutual. But as much as Buddy loves his carwash friends, it’s not a safe forever home—especially with a busy highway nearby and nowhere safe to go at night.

Buddy is a gentle, calm soul who can be timid with new people at first, but wins over quickly with patience, treats, and a few loving pets. He’s dog-friendly and would thrive with a calm canine companion around his size.

This sweet boy is fully vetted, heartworm negative, and ready for the next chapter of his life. Buddy will need a secure fenced yard, as he may try to flee until he feels truly safe. A patient adopter who is home more often than not and has another dog to help show him the ropes would be ideal.
