DESCRIPTION

Looking for a professional snuggler with a penchant for plushies? Cooper is the silly, toy loving soulmate you’ve been waiting to meet!

The Sweetest Shadow You'll Ever Have! Cooper is essentially a overgrown puppy who hasn't realized he’s not a lap dog yet! This goofy guy is the definition of sweetheart, known for showering his favorite humans with endless kisses and affection. His most endearing habit? He meticulously picks out a specific toy from the pile and carries it with him to the couch for a nap it’s his emotional support squeaker! He’s a total shadow who just wants to be wherever you are, making him the perfect hang out dog for movie marathons or lazy Sunday mornings.

Want to see the cutest toy thief in action? Click the video below to watch Cooper pick out his favorite couch buddy and show off his goofy personality!

We estimate this handsome fellow is a Labrador Retriever mix, though with rescue, it's always a fun guessing game! Weighing in at a sturdy 50 lbs, he’s just right size…big enough for those real deal hugs, but compact enough to not take up the entire sofa (unless he’s stretching out). Coop’s got a heart that’s clearly twice the size of his body! He’s essentially a professional space saver who specializes in filling the exact gap in your heart (and your living room)!

In his foster home, Cooper has proven to be a polite houseguest who already knows the ropes of indoor living! He is crate trained and currently lives with small dogs, he just thinks of them as his pint sized best friends! Whether it’s an exciting car ride to the park or just following you into the kitchen to 'help' with dinner prep, Cooper is just happy to be part of the team.

When it comes to other dogs, Cooper is a social butterfly who especially loves the little ones and puppies! He has a playful, big brother energy and does well with most companions. He’s great at reading the room and knows when to take a breather and disengage when play gets too serious. Whether he’s sharing his toy bin with a furry sibling or soaking up all the attention as your one and only, he is just happy to be by your side. He’s the ultimate flexible friend who is ready to fit right into your pack!

Cooper met a feline friend and, well, let’s just say he was very fascinated! Coop didn't give chase, but he seems to think cats are just very small, funny-looking dogs that deserve a lot of his attention. We believe he is willing to share his kingdom with a kitty, but Cooper will have a kitty sleepover as a trial run to ensure they can officially become the bestest of buds!

He is a versatile guy! While he’d love a yard to zoom around in, he is actually a great dog for apartment living as long as he gets his walks. His ideal home is one filled with love, a few sturdy chew toys, and a very comfortable couch.

In short, Cooper is a silly, affectionate, toy loving bundle of joy who is ready to bring a whole lot of laughter to your life. He’s a resilient boy who just wants a place to belong and a human to adore.
