Approximate Weight: 33 lbs

Gets Along With: Other dogs. We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: DC area foster home

Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think Xelena would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure she can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.

Xelena is Looking For: A family to give love and affection. Xelena loves people and dogs but needs a home to call her own. She'll thrive with training, exercise and a routine.

What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once she has spent time in foster care.
