Meet Rye (Niklaus)!

Niklaus, lovingly called Rye, was one of our adorable “Bread Litter” puppies born around February 7, 2022. His mom was a sweet black Lab/Shepherd mix, and while we never met Dad, we’re convinced he must’ve been quite the looker — because every puppy in the litter was absolutely beautiful. Niklaus is no exception.

This handsome boy recently made his way back to us and has settled in beautifully. He’s a happy, playful dog who loves to engage, explore, and enjoy life. Since returning, we have not observed any aggression — just a bright, loving personality and a dog who enjoys companionship and playtime.

Niklaus thrives with structure and space, and we believe he will do best in a home that offers stability, patience, and room for him to feel secure. He deserves a family who will cherish him, include him, and give him the consistency every dog needs to flourish.

He is a wonderful dog with so much love to give, and he’s ready for a forever home that will truly be forever — a place where he always has a spot, always has security, and always knows he belongs.

Rye/Niklaus is up to date on shots, neutered, heartworm negative, and has a registered microchip.
