Meet Posey!

She is 5–6 months old. Currently fostered in Davis, California.

Sweet Posey is a happy, friendly, playful puppy who is ready to find her forever home. Our best guess is that she is a Lab/Shepherd mix, and she has the loving, social personality to match.

Posey is wonderful with other dogs and friendly with new people. Zero food aggression, not a mean bone in her body. She is the kind of puppy who will bring joy, sweetness, and fun to so many different types of homes.

Like any young puppy, Posey is looking for a home that is ready for all things puppy: training, patience, structure, consistency, and lots of love. She is still learning about the world and will need a family committed to helping her build confidence and master the basics, including leash walking, car rides, and all the everyday experiences that help a puppy grow into a wonderful adult dog.

Posey would love an active, committed forever home ready for a lifetime of companionship, adventures, and love.

3. If it sounds like a potential match for you and the dog of interest, we will promptly set up a meet and greet at the foster home

Please note we are a foster-based rescue meaning our dogs are in individual foster homes throughout sac and the bay. For this reason we may only be able to schedule meets for one dog at a time (or litter). The average timeline between app submission and a meet and greet is 3-5 days. Please only submit an application for a specific dog if you are ready to adopt that animal within a week's time.
