DESCRIPTION
Meet Milky Way
Milky Way is an estimated 1 1/2 years old (weighs 35 pounds) and came to us as a stray—found on the run, carrying quiet proof that her past wasn’t what it should have been. The small scars on her face tell a story she didn’t choose... but they don’t define who she is.
What does define Milky Way?
Gratitude. Gentleness. A heart that still believes in people.
Since arriving at the shelter, she’s been nothing but sweet with everyone she’s met—soaking up kindness like it’s something brand new. She leans into affection, looks at you with those soft eyes, and reminds you how powerful love can be when it’s finally given freely.
Milky Way deserves to know what safety feels like. She deserves consistency, warmth, and a family who shows her that love isn’t something you have to earn—it’s something you’re worthy of.
If you’re ready to give a second chance to a dog who will treasure it with her whole heart, Milky Way is ready to meet you.
Sometimes the most beautiful souls are the ones who’ve survived the dark—and still choose to shine.
