Sponge Cake is a Lab/Shar Pei mix puppy who was born in the care of Boxers and Buddies and has been cared for in a loving foster environment. He is playful, curious, and enjoys both activity and downtime.

He combines the friendly, people-oriented traits of a Labrador with the unique personality of a Shar Pei. He is learning about the world and enjoys interacting with people and his surroundings.

Sponge Cake will need continued training, socialization, and routine as he grows. With patience and positive reinforcement, he will develop into a loyal and well-balanced companion.

He would do best in a home ready to invest time and consistency into raising a puppy.

Before adoption, all Boxers and Buddies dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped. All dogs are fostered in a foster home where they are treated like family - practicing socialization skills.

After submitting an application, our team will contact you within 24 hours. The process includes an interview, home check, and a meet-and-greet (all household dogs must attend). Renters must provide proof that dogs are allowed per their lease, and adopters are required to complete a training course with a certified positive reinforcement trainer.We require professional obedience training from a certified trainer for ALL adoptions.
