Hi! My name is Scout, and I’m an 8-month-old Lab/Pit mix and the brother of Zeedo, River, and Bear. I’m a super sweet, friendly pup who loves people and being part of the family. I have an affectionate, happy personality and enjoy both playtime and snuggles with my humans.

I do great with kids and love spending time with my doggie friends too. I’m a social boy who enjoys companionship and would love a home where I can be included in everyday life.

Like most young pups, I love toys, chew bones, and all the fun puppy things. One of my cutest little quirks is that I like to lay down while I eat — I just like to be comfy while enjoying my meals!

I’m doing great with potty training as long as I get regular potty breaks, and I keep learning with consistency, routine, and positive reinforcement as I grow into the wonderful adult dog I’m meant to be.

*Disclaimer: Scout is currently located in Texas and can be adopted either locally or out of state. We coordinate everything with our ground transport teams to ensure they arrive to the adopter safely and we keep the adopter in the loop every step of the way. Transport costs are included in the adoption fees. We also have our fosters video chat with potential adopters prior to adoption so that the adopter gets to see the animals and ensure it’s a fit. We allow adoption fees to be paid via goods and services if desired to give our adopters extra security and protection.
