Talk about puppy-dog eyes This gorgeous girl is next-level irresistible! Max, an 8-week-old, 17-lb Lab/Pit mix (best guess!), is a big-dog lover's dream in the making. She's a professional snuggler who is obsessed with her toys (especially the crinkly ones), and loves being close to her people - keeping a paw, nose, or whole body touching you whenever possible. Max is curious about the resident cat but non-aggressive, gets along great with other dogs, and is super smart and eager to please. She learns quickly and is already doing well with crate training. BONUS: if you let her snuggle at night, she'll sleep quietly without a peep. She's still very puppy-mouthy, so a home without little kids is her best fit. She is microchipped and vaccinated, and will be spayed by the rescue when she's old enough. Located on Long Island Adoption fee: $700
