DESCRIPTION

If you're looking for a dog that is going to make you feel loved, seen, appreciated, and special, Zeus Buddy is your guy! He doesn't need anything in return besides your love and company. You want to sit on the couch and do nothing all day? Sign him up! Want to sleep in? He is right there next to you dreaming away. Want to go on a walk or mini adventure? He is already in the car ready to go. Zeus is a go with the flow fella who appreciates a slow life and just wants to loved. That's all he cares about. He wants to be loved and loved by you. Literally his favorite thing: LOVE! Truly, he's your best friend.

Watch his video you’ll immediately find your long lost soul dog: https://youtu.be/f0PZ9JiPn_A?si=URbEZsgaQtlCMR23

Zeus Buddy is believed to be a Lab/pittie mix approximately 5 years old and currently weighs 62lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age.

One thing that we do know is that Zeus is someone’s soul dog that hasn’t found him yet. Connections with him are simply instantaneous. He’s the type who quickly becomes your couch buddy, your shadow around the house, and your favorite part of coming home. Once he bonds with you, his affection is easy, happy, and incredibly genuine. the kind that shows up in snuggles, quiet companionship, and those sweet little moments where he’s just content being by your side.

If Zeus could dream up his ideal home, it would be with someone or a family that is home often, either working from home or a stay-at-home parent. He thrives with human interaction and loves to snuggle. He is an incredibly sweet and loving boy who wants to be everyone’s bestie. He absolutely loves everyone he meets and melts into you any chance he can get. Zeus would also do just fine if you work longer hours outside of the home as well. His foster is a student and is gone from the house at least 5–6 hours on average and he does just fine. We just know that he loves his people and loves to be around them.

Zeus is dog friendly and did great meeting all of the dogs we introduced him to. He is a little shy when he first meets dogs, does best with the ladies, and appreciates calm respectful greetings just like any gentleman would. In a home, Zeus's best match would be another dog that matches his cool, calm, and collected personality. A low- to medium-energy female that likes to play every now and then but mostly enjoys relaxing hangout moments would be ideal. If you don't have another dog, that is totally fine with Zeus! He does not need the company of another dog to help him feel comfortable and open up. He is more people-oriented and loves affection so much that he would be just as happy being your one and only and the center of your world. He would also do best in a home with no cats.

Zeus is the kind of dog who makes life feel simple in the best way. He settles in quickly, loves a cozy spot on the couch, and is happiest just being near his people. With his medium-to-low energy level, he doesn’t need much exercise and is perfectly content with a relaxed routine filled with snuggles and quiet companionship. He already knows basic commands like sit, walks nicely on a leash, and has such wonderful manners that his foster trusts him to be left unattended when she leaves.

Zeus is both crate trained and potty trained, and he’s proven to be incredibly adaptable in his current apartment setting, where he’s doing great. His foster uses stairs regularly, and he handles them with ease. While he hasn’t been on an elevator yet, his easygoing nature suggests he’ll continue to adjust well. He would also thrive in a residential home with a backyard, but truly, all Zeus wants is a place to belong. Whether it’s an apartment or a house, he’s ready to settle in, curl up beside you, and be a loving, loyal member of your family.

We are willing to test Zeus Buddy with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know.

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+.
