Y’all this sweet young pup is a special one! His name is Joey Golden and just like his fur is golden, his personality is just golden and perfect. Joey is quite the character, with a true love for life! He loves his toys and will spend his time playing and keeping himself busy while you are working or taking care of things around the house. He has an affectionate nature and is an expert cuddler who would love to curl up with you on the couch for movie night. His foster has personally stated she loves how snuggly he is too and the way he immediately flops over to give his belly. There is so much to love about Joey Golden, he is dog friendly, has a wonderful balanced energy about him, cat friendly, and would even make a great companion for your kids!

Joey Golden is believed tome a lab mix approximately 7 months old and currently weighs 29 lbs and growing! He is a rescue dog and with any rescue it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age.
Joey is a happy, playful, and incredibly snuggly boy that will surely steal your heart! He has a wonderful personality and amazing energy about him even with is young age. He is the perfect blend of silliness and cuddles all in one. Joey is the best of both worlds. He can be a little shy at first in new places and with people but trust us when we say it does not take long for this sweet boy to be flopping over and giving you his belly! He enjoys being outdoors, rides well in a car, and going on mini adventures. He would love to go to a home that has a backyard where he can stretch his legs, roll around in the grass, and then enjoy his down time snuggled up with you on the couch.
Joey is very dog friendly and has met a handful of dogs all with different personalities and energy levels. Just like with people, he is initially shy around other dogs he meets for the first time. He is not the type that is going to immediately come out the gate wanting to play, he's what we call a slow burn. Once he's comfortable, he loves to play with other dogs and has a gentle play style, is great about sharing treats, toys, and affection with other dogs as well. He understands when it's time to take a play break and appreciates those relaxing moments too. In a home, he would do best with a dog that enjoys the company of other dogs, isn't looking for a 24/7 playmate, and will give him time to open up. He'll be perfect for that! Joey also does not need another dog in the home, so no worries there if you don't have a dog. He is so loving and affectionate that he has enough love to give that is equivalent to 3 dogs combined. He's something special!
Joey is your guy if you're looking for a loving boy who brings joy, comfort, and lots of tail wags into your home! Enjoy the chance to welcome this charming and lovable boy into your family. He is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Joey is doing great with potty training as well and is currently use to getting a few potty breaks a day and does fantastic with that schedule. For Joey to continue to master potty training, it will be ideal if his new family has the ability to give him a few potty breaks a day while he matures and grows into adulthood. The same thing can also be said about any additional training for this young guy. Consistency, structure, and of course treats will be key to setting him up for success. Good news is that Joey is a super smart pup and is eager to please, especially when treats are involved. He already knows how to sit and walks fairly well on a leash! Joey is a 10/10 good boy.
We are willing to test Joey Golden with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know.
