Labrador Retriever and Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption

Mildred is a sweet female Lab mix with a heart as soft as her slightly fluffy coat. She’s the only one of her litter rocking a more brown-than-black coloring, which makes her just as unique on the outside as she is on the inside. The most gentle and reserved of her siblings, Mildred has been blossoming more each day now that she feels safe and comfortable—watching her confidence grow has been incredibly rewarding.

While she’ll occasionally romp around with her siblings, Mildred truly prefers people. She’s a certified velcro dog who will happily follow you from room to room, always wanting to be close. When playtime strikes, she’s happy to join in, but she’s just as content curling up in her person’s lap for a cozy nap. Affection is her love language, and she’ll soak up every cuddle, belly rub, and gentle word you’re willing to give.

Potty training and crate training are still a work in progress, but Mildred is a smart girl and catching on quickly with consistency and patience. She does wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and kids, making her an easy addition to many types of households.
