Meet Mavis – The Gentle-Hearted Companion

Mavis is a 3-year-old, 55-pound sweetheart with a quiet soul and a heart full of love. Though she is shy at first she becomes a loyal and affectionate companion.

Mavis feels most confident around other dogs and truly shines in their company—she's submissive, playful, and clearly finds comfort in her furry friends. Because of this, a home with another friendly dog would help her blossom even more.

She’s fully potty trained, crate trained, and housebroken. While she’s a bit shy around kids, she melts for tummy rubs, quiet snuggles, and gentle attention from the humans she knows and trusts.

Car rides can be a little scary at first, but Mavis settles down nicely once she feels secure. At night, she loves sleeping in her cozy dog bed right next to yours, and during the day, you might find her napping happily in your bed if given the chance.

Mavis is also a bit of a foodie—she loves her kibble mixed with wet food and looks forward to mealtime with joy.

Mavis is located in Houston, TX and can be transported to most states for a $300 fee.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
