Asta (A141283) is a 9-month-old Lab mix who weighed 53.1 pounds on intake! 03/03/26 This fun-loving pup is Asta! Asta was surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of his own. He is still a young dog looking for his right fit! In his previous home he was stated to be kennel trained, housebroken, rides well in a car, and knows the command sit! However, he is still young and eager to learn. His prior owner did note that he does not love his nails being trimmed and is a super wiggler. Asta has no experience with children but was said to do well with strangers and adults. He has also previously done well with other dogs and even cats. It is important that you are making appropriate introductions to help set him up for success. Asta does still have few naughty habits like getting into the trash, counter surfing, and is a chewer.
