Meet Simba & Rajah - a bonded pair looking for their forever home together

Simba (9 years old, ~35 lbs) and Rajah (11 years old, ~55 lbs) are a pair of sweet, gentle Lab mixes whose lives were turned upside down when their family could no longer care for them. Having been cherished members of the same home for nearly a decade, these two now find themselves in need of a second chance together.

Rajah is the more outgoing half of the pair. At 11 years old, she is affectionate, friendly, and loves nothing more than cuddling up on the couch for pets and hugs. She's also fully potty trained, knows "sit" and "shake," and is easygoing enough to relax when you're busy. Like Simba, she's afraid of getting wet (these two will not be your swimming buddies!), but she makes up for it with her joyful, loving nature. Rajah is great with kids, good with other dogs, and has a heart full of love to give.

Simba is a shy, sensitive boy who just needs time to feel safe. Once he trusts you, though, his loyalty and affection shine through. He's fully potty trained, leash trained, and wonderfully quiet-his family says he never barks! While he can be a little socially awkward at first with kids or other dogs, he warms up beautifully with patience. He's not destructive when left alone, though he has been known to get playful with a pillow or two, but he'd prefer a toy to keep himself entertained instead. Simba prefers to take things slow and doesn't always want pets until he knows you, but when he does, he's an incredibly loving companion.

Together, Simba and Rajah are the perfect balance: one shy and reserved, one affectionate and snuggly, both deeply loyal. They've spent their entire lives in a family home, are used to being left alone during the day without issues, and are simply looking for someone kind and patient to open their heart to two wonderful dogs who've lost everything.
