DESCRIPTION
Hi, I'm Tessa! I'm a young lady with a heart full of love, just waiting for the right person to help me feel safe and brave. I am incredibly sweet, affectionate, and calm. I may have had a rough start to life and ended up at the shelter, but am quickly learning that life is not quite so scary. Once I know I am safe, I love to cuddle up on the couch or grab a toy and play. I am very excited to meet other dogs and will calmly approach them with a gentle tail wag. I am currently oblivious to the fact that there is a cat in the house but am sure we would be best friends! I am doing great with my kennel training; it is a safe place for me and a great toy storage area! I will sleep around 6 hours a night before quietly asking to go out for some fresh air and a potty break. I am looking for a patient household while I figure out life and willing to help me build my confidence. Will you be the one to show me that the world is a wonderful place?
ABOUT: LABRADOR RETRIEVER DOG BREED
The Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile dog breed known for its friendly demeanor and high intelligence. These dogs are often used as guide dogs for the visually impaired, search and rescue dogs, and excellent family pets. Labradors are known for their great sense of smell, strong build, and love of water, making them exceptional hunters and swimmers. With their loyal and loving nature, Labradors have rightfully earned their reputation as one of the most beloved dog breeds in the world.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
