Labrador Retriever and Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption

Hi! I'm Peyton, I'm a 1 year old Labrador Retriever mix weighing in at 50lbs. I was adopted as a cute 3 month old puppy. Nine months later I became an "until dog" My adoptive family could only keep me until it came time to move. I was a member of the family, until they no longer had room for me. But that didn't stop me, I'm still full of love and ready to pass it along to my forever family. I am a fun loving stunningly handsome chap.

I'm very well behaved at home, I'm crate trained, eager to please and know basic commands. I love to be where the action is and hang with my people.

Peyton would do well in a home with other dogs and kids, and he is ready to spend his days soaking up all the joy and love of a forever family, and be a forever dog, not an until dog. Until someone no longer has a "use" for me and I become an inconvenience. Peyton can’t wait to meet you and be your forever friend.

Peyton is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
