Labrador Retriever and Jack Russell Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption

Theodora may be small, but her personality is mighty! This spunky little pup is full of confidence and curiosity, always ready for her next adventure. Brave and bold, she’s not afraid to explore new places, meet new friends, or try new things—with her tail wagging the whole time.

Theodora is accustomed to being doted over. She gets compliments everywhere she goes on how cute and well behaved she is! At only 4.5 months old, she is wonderful in public! She frequents coffee shops, parks, and just about any place that allows dogs! She even lets you put her in a cart!

Theodora also loves toys, games, and playing with other pups. Theodora is currently being fostered with other dogs and loves meeting new furry friends! She is also being fostered with kids 10 years and older and would do great in a home with kids. She loves to snuggle and play with her little humans, especially when they throw toys for her!

Theodora would be an easy dog to teach. She is treat motivated, quick to learn, observant, and eager to figure things out on her own. She is already kennel trained and working on being fully potty trained.

**This pet is currently being fostered in Corpus Christi, Texas but is available for transport to the destination in which they are listed. We handle transport logistics!

Dreaming of Furever Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue that adopts cats and dogs from South Texas to the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, and the East Coast. The adoption process consists of an application, reference checks, phone interview, and video chat with the pet and foster parent!

The adoption fee of $700 includes spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, DHPP and booster(s), and Bordatella), microchip with free lifetime registration, deworming, transport, heartworm test (if over the age of 6 months), heartworm and flea prevention during the pet's time in our program as well as 2 free months of heartworm and flea prevention to be sent in their adoption packet!

We are volunteers with a passion to reduce the stray population and unnecessary euthanasia in South Texas. According to Shelter Animals Count, an almost 100,000 cats and dogs were euthanized in Texas shelters in 2024. By transporting our adoptable pets to areas with fewer unwanted pets, they have a better chance of quickly finding loving homes, while also freeing up space in Texas shelters and giving more local animals a chance at life.
