Rumi and her brother were abandoned outside a grocery store in Puerto Rico — tiny, starving, and covered in ticks and fleas. Their skin was raw and painful, and it was clear they had been struggling for far too long without anyone to care for them. They were just babies trying to survive.
But look at her now.

Rumi is healthy, healing, and thriving. Her fur is growing back, her eyes are bright, and her personality is shining through. She is incredibly friendly, cuddly, and playful — the kind of puppy who runs to you for love and then melts into your arms for snuggles.

She’s expected to grow to around 30 lbs (per our vet), making her the perfect medium-sized companion.

Rumi has already overcome so much in her short life. Now she’s ready for a forever home where she will never be hungry, hurting, or forgotten again — just loved the way she always deserved.
