DESCRIPTION
Myrtle is a 3-month-old black Lab mix who made the trip north from South Carolina in search of the life every puppy deserves — a safe, loving forever home. Like most Southern pups, her past is a bit of a mystery, but what we do know is that she is a happy-go-lucky, playful girl who is ready to take on the world.
Myrtle is currently living in foster care where she’s getting a great start learning all the important puppy basics. She will be working on potty training and crate training, and like any young puppy, she will need a family that understands that puppies are a lot of work and require patience, consistency, and continued training as she grows.
She is being fostered with other dogs and does great with them, and she would also do well in a home with children. Myrtle could also live with cats as long as introductions are slow and appropriate, giving everyone time to adjust.
Myrtle is exactly what you’d expect from a young Lab mix — sweet, playful, curious, and full of puppy energy. She’s looking for a family that is ready to guide her as she grows into the amazing dog she’s meant to be.
