Meet Ollie — a 4.5-month-old Labrador Retriever/Hound mix who carries sunshine in his heart and a wiggle in his tail. At 33 pounds and still growing into those big, handsome paws, Ollie is the kind of puppy who believes every day should start with playtime and end with a tasty treat (or two, or three if he can charm you into it).

Ollie is the life of the party wherever he goes. His bubbly, friendly personality makes him quick to befriend just about everyone he meets. People? Loves them. Dogs? Friends. New faces? Just more potential attention and belly rubs! He’s especially motivated by treats and already shows off his intelligence by knowing how to sit while he’s learning more fun tricks along the way.

When it comes to fun, Ollie is all about the toys — especially anything that squeaks. He enjoys chasing, pouncing, and proudly parading around with his favorite toy like he just won a championship game. Because of his playful energy, Ollie would thrive with an active family ready to match his adventurous spirit with walks, play sessions, and lots of engagement.

Ollie is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
