Available for Adoption starting February 28th!
Ellie is a beautiful darker tan girl with a striking black muzzle and the title of largest female in the litter. Confident and charming, she naturally carries herself like one of the leaders of the pack. Ellie is outgoing and affectionate, and she absolutely loves being held and snuggled. She even enjoys music and will happily “snuggle dance” right along with you. She’s joyful, loving, and never shy about soaking up attention.
Ellie’s story began in Texas, where her mom, Maggie, was found as a stray on an oil rig job site. After being rescued, Maggie safely delivered her puppies in foster care. When the babies were just four weeks old, they made the journey to Wisconsin and have been growing and thriving in a loving foster home ever since. Ellie is fostered with her mom and siblings, does well with other dogs, and is playful and gentle with children.
Ellie is ready for a forever family who will embrace her confident spirit, affectionate nature, and love of cuddles — and maybe play a little music for her, too.
She enjoys people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs.
She is working on her potty training, however her new family should be prepared to do additional training while she learns the routine at her new home as she is just a young puppy.
She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination which certifies her to be in good condition.
Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee.
