Available for Adoption starting February 28th!
Bette is a beautiful black puppy with tiny white tips on her back toes and a soft white patch on her chest — like a little hidden heart. She is the shyest of the litter, but once she feels safe, her gentle personality really shines. Bette enjoys playing with her siblings and does well with other dogs, but she especially loves quiet closeness with her people. She would much rather snuggle beside you than be picked up, showing affection in her own sweet, steady way.
Bette’s story began in Texas, where her mom, Maggie, was found as a stray on an oil rig job site. After being rescued, Maggie safely delivered her puppies in foster care. When the babies were just four weeks old, they made the journey to Wisconsin and have been growing and thriving in a loving foster home ever since. Bette is fostered with her mom and siblings, is playful and gentle with children, and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, vet checked, and comes with medical records.
Bette is looking for a patient, loving home where her tender heart can continue to bloom and where she can build confidence at her own pace.
She enjoys people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs.
She is working on her potty training, however her new family should be prepared to do additional training while she learns the routine at her new home as she is just a young puppy.
She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination which certifies her to be in good condition.
Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee.
