Lenox is a beautiful 5–6-year-old Lab/Shepherd mix weighing about 53 pounds, with a stunning brown and black coat accented by touches of white on her chest and feet. She’s the kind of dog who turns heads — but it’s her gentle, loving personality that truly wins people over.
Lenox came to us from a hoarding situation, and despite her past, she has proven to be an incredibly sweet, resilient girl. She may be just a tiny bit shy at first, but give her a little time and she warms up quickly, showing her affectionate and easygoing nature.
She is wonderful with other dogs, cats, and kids, making her a great fit for many homes. Lenox is the definition of “go with the flow.” She’s not high energy, doesn’t demand constant activity, and has long since outgrown the chaos of puppyhood. Instead, she’s content to be your steady, loyal companion.
Lenox walks nicely on a leash, does well in the car, and actually enjoys car rides. She does pretty well with going outside for potty and will continue to thrive with a consistent routine in her new home.
What Lenox truly wants is simple — to be your best friend. She’s approachable, gentle, and happiest just being near her people.
