Wayne and Bruce are a dynamic duo who arrived together as strays, and their bond is just as strong as their charm! At around 1 year old, these handsome boys are believed to be Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd mixes -- which means they've got the perfect blend of brains, loyalty, and playful energy.

Wayne is a sweet, goofy guy who loves to romp around and soak up attention. Bruce matches his energy with a fun-loving spirit and a heart full of affection. Together, they are playful, curious, and always ready for their next adventure -- whether that's chasing toys in the yard or cuddling up after a long day of fun.

Despite their rough start, both boys are incredibly loving and eager to connect with their people. They're still young, so they'll benefit from continued training and structure, but they're smart and motivated -- a wonderful combination for any family looking to add a loyal companion (or two!) to their home.

Wayne and Bruce can be adopted together or separately, but they would absolutely love a home where they can continue to grow, play, and be cherished members of the family.

Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.

Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM.
All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet.
Fees:
Dogs over 6 months old: $100
Puppies under 6 months: $200.
Cats and Kittens are $75 ($65 without microchip).

NOTE: Our adoptions are first come first served, simply filling out an application does not mean the animal will be held for you, you must come meet the animal in person in order to be considered for adoption.
If you rent you must bring your lease or a letter from your landlord stating you may adopt.
