Miss Rogue is back with us… and before anyone panics, let’s be very clear: she did absolutely nothing wrong. In fact, she was apparently too good at one thing. Unfortunately for the household cats, Rogue thinks they are self-propelled squeaky toys. 🐱➡️🎾

So here we are.

Rogue is about 75% German Shepherd, 25% Lab, and 100% good girl. She was born around September 7th and was one of the Highway 42 box puppies. Yes, that group. The babies we found abandoned and scared, who turned into total rockstars.

Her previous family was heartbroken to return her. They shared nothing but glowing reviews:
• Completely house broke
• Crate trained (“kennel” is her jam)
• Knows sit, down, and several other commands
• Eager to learn more
• Fantastic with kids of all ages
• Great with other dogs

She thrives with structure and training. Shepherd brain + Lab heart = smart, loyal, and very people-focused. She wants a job. She wants her person. She wants to show off how smart she is. She just does not want feline roommates. 🚫🐱

We are an all volunteer-based organization that does not have a building or a staff, only 8 members with jobs and families, trying to make a difference. We do not have the volunteer manpower to show animals to non-approved applicants. If your application gets screened and approved, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet and you can decide if this is the right pet for you.
