Meet Moose- a 6-month-old Labrador Retriever mix with a big personality and even bigger energy. He is a smart young pup who already knows how to sit and is fully house trained. Moose prefers being out and about rather than spending time in a crate, and he does best in a home where he can stay active and engaged. Like many puppies, he is not a big fan of trips to the vet, but with patience and positive reinforcement, he continues to learn and grow.
Moose has lived with men and women of all ages and does well with adults. Due to his high energy level and playful nature, he may be a bit overwhelming for some younger children, so a home that understands puppy behavior would be ideal. He takes a little time to warm up to new visitors, but once he feels comfortable, he shows his affectionate and playful side. Moose does not have experience living with cats and has done well in playgroups at the shelter with like-minded players, but can be overwhelming for older or more laid back dogs. He would thrive in an active home that can provide him with consistent training, exercise, and structure to help him continue developing into a well-mannered companion.
