Monty is pure sunshine wrapped up in the cutest little puppy package! With his adorable heart-shaped marking and the sweet gray ring around one eye, he's impossible not to fall in love with at first sight. But it's his joyful, happy-go-lucky personality that will truly steal your heart.
Monty was found on the streets of Houston at just 4 weeks old alongside his mom and six siblings. Even then, he stood out as the biggest of the bunch, weighing in at a mighty 3.1 lbs! Since then, he has been thriving in foster care and growing into a confident, playful, and affectionate little guy.
He absolutely loves people and other dogs and is always ready to make a new friend. Monty enjoys romping outside, rolling in the dirt, soaking up the sunshine, and then coming inside for some well-earned cuddles. He has a wonderful balance of playful energy and sweet snuggles.
Monty is deaf, which makes him extra special — and extra amazing. Deaf dogs are incredibly smart and bond deeply with their people. With positive reinforcement and hand signals, Monty will continue to flourish and learn. He doesn't know he's any different — he just knows life is meant to be enjoyed!
He'll be neutered this week and is ready to meet his forever family — one that will embrace his uniqueness, celebrate his big heart, and give him the love and guidance he deserves.
