Labrador Retriever and Black Mouth Cur Dogs Available for Adoption

Teddy is a 5-6 year old, 80 lb sweetheart who was rescued just before the winter storm late January and he’s been nothing but love ever since.

Teddy could be a mix of Black Mouth Cur and Labrador Retriever mix (possibly Shepherd blend). He’s a “family dog” type mix: social, adaptable, and balanced.

This handsome boy has the best of both worlds. He enjoys getting out for walks around the neighborhood (short or long, he’s happy either way), but he’s just as content being your cozy couch companion. Teddy loves to lounge, nap throughout the day, and soak up the sunshine on a warm rug or floor spot.

He adores belly rubs and isn’t shy about asking for attention when he wants it or when he misses you. His signature “roo roo roo” conversations will keep you smiling and make you feel like you’re never alone. He is a chatty, lovable boy who always has something to say.

Teddy is incredibly easy to have around:
• Great with dogs, cats, and children
• Potty trained and clean indoors
• Walks nicely on a leash
• Loves car rides (especially trips to the coffee shop or park)

He truly thrives in a loving, active home where he can be part of the family’s daily life, whether that’s joining you on outings or relaxing by your side at home.

Teddy was heartworm positive at the time of rescue and is currently undergoing treatment. He is receiving the care he needs and doing great.

Teddy is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find his forever family.

Adoption Fee: $500
This fee includes his full vetting, health certificate, and out-of-state transport. We coordinate transport directly to your area to make the process easy and seamless.
