Meet Stef!

Remember the classic movie The Goonies? Stef and her siblings are named after those iconic characters, and just like in the movie, their story almost took a dark turn before a rescue mission saved the day.

This little crew was discovered living in an abandoned house, trying to survive the best they could. But just like the Goonies never leave a friend behind, we weren’t about to leave this family behind either. When we arrived, we found not only the puppies but their sweet mama as well. We humanely trapped her to bring her to safety, and right there beside the trap, wagging his tail and loyally keeping watch over his girl, was dad. So of course… we rescued the whole family. Because love like that deserves a happy ending.

Now Stef is about 2.5 months old and ready to start her next adventure — finding a forever family of her own. Stef was clearly born for the good life: adventures in the backyard, dramatic zoomie sessions through the living room, long naps in the sun, and of course plenty of cuddles. She’s a happy-go-lucky, playful little girl with just the right amount of puppy mischief to keep life interesting. One minute she’s bravely exploring the world, the next she’s curled up like a tiny potato after a long day of being adorable.

Like any puppy, Stef will come with the full puppy starter pack: silly antics, a few messes, lots of learning moments, and endless love. She’ll need patience, guidance, and a family committed to helping her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. But if you’re ready for the training, the laughter, and the lifelong bond that only a dog can bring, Stef just might be your girl.

Her DNA test would probably come back as “a little bit of everything” and you can see what mom and dad looked like… unless another mysterious suitor snuck into the storyline. Whatever the mix, the result is one adorable puppy.

Once submitted, we will reach out to approved applicants by phone. We may also suggest other amazing dogs in our care who could be a great fit for your home.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $450 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. NOTE: We cannot guarantee breed mix or full grown size. Both are estimates based on physical characteristics and any known history.
